Dubai September 27, 2025 Just days before the much anticipated Asia Cup 2025 final between Pakistan and India the Indian camp has been hit with injury worries surrounding two key players all rounder Hardik Pandya and opener Abhishek Sharma.
Details of the Injuries
Indias bowling coach Morne Morkel confirmed in a media briefing that both players experienced cramps during the high intensity match against Sri Lanka.
Hardik Pandya The star all rounder left the field after bowling just one over due to a hamstring issue and spent the remainder of the innings off the field.Medical staff will assess his condition today to determine whether he can take part in the final.
Abhishek Sharma the young opener was seen clutching his right thigh in the ninth over.Although he briefly attempted to continue he eventually walked off during the 10th over and sat out the second half of Sri Lanka’s innings. Morkel however stated that Sharma is now fit and expected to play against Pakistan.
