Famous Cricketer passing away in his sleep and left the team in morning while his fans are deeply shocked after hearing this news

According to Indian media reports, former Bengal Ranji Trophy player Subhajit Banerjee passed away at the age of 39 due to a heart attack.

The family of the renowned cricketer revealed that Subhajit Banerjee was still actively playing cricket. On the day of his passing, he had lunch at home and went for a short nap but never woke up.

When his parents tried to wake him, there was no response. Later, a doctor was called to the house, who confirmed his death and stated that he suffered a heart attack in his sleep.

Subhajit Banerjee made his debut for Bengal in 2014 during a Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Odisha and also participated in three Ranji Trophy matches that season.

Bengal’s current coach, Laxmi Ratan Shukla, said that Subhajit was a true team player and a wonderful human being. His performances in domestic cricket had caught everyone’s attention.

Subhajit Banerjee was a right-handed batsman and a part-time off-spinner. He represented East Bengal in domestic cricket from 2008 to 2009 and again from 2016 to 2017.
